PICCK is hosting a two-part training series on implicit bias in the healthcare setting in partnership with She+ Geeks Out for CME credit. The first training session will be held virtually on December 8, 2020. The second training session will be held virtually on January 26, 2021.

Participants at the conclusion of this webinar will be able to:
1. Review foundations of diversity, equity, and inclusion
2. Increase self-awareness of individual and institutional biases, specifically in the healthcare system
3. Apply bias reduction strategies through case studies and recognize the impact of bias on real-life patients interactions

Partners in Contraceptive Choice and Knowledge (PICCK) is an innovative clinical and public health program designed to promote contraceptive choice and effective contraceptive counseling across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Enacted in partnership with the state’s birth hospitals, the program provides education, training, and technical assistance to expand and sustain the capacity of hospitals statewide to provide contraceptive services.
